I am a final year Computer Science student wanting to get a high paying job in a reputed MNC after graduation. Can seniors tell me what skills and abilities companies look for the most during campus placements?
Technical skills are important but not enough. Focus on developing communication skills, leadership qualities, and problem solving skills. Do internships and projects that reflect these.
Focus on modern technologies like ML, AI, Cloud, IOT etc. Learn them through online courses and make some projects to demonstrate your skills. These will make you stand out from others.
Apart from technical skills, companies also look for good communication and interpersonal skills. Participate in group activities, presentations and competitions to improve these soft skills.
Network! Talk to seniors, alumni and faculty. Get campus placement guidance from them. Use campus placements portals to know about upcoming opportunities and preparation tips. All the best!
