Hi Guys i’m learning Tally for CA course and having some confusion regarding double entries. Like how the entries will be passed when cash is received or paid from/to Bank?
May 11, 2023 at 7:26 am #2407Bro u must understand how tally maintains accounts on basis of double entry system. Every transaction has 2 sides- debit and credit. So when u receive cash from client, u credit client a/c and debit bank a/c to show the increase in bank balance. No need to make separate receipt entry. Hope it helps

May 11, 2023 at 7:29 am #2409Yo bhai sahi kaha tune.. Haan Phela receipt aur payment entries hi krna hoga.. Bank side aur cash side dono credits aur debits dono entries hogi.. Phir total bank aur cash ka tally hona chahiye balance sheet mein
May 11, 2023 at 7:31 am #2410Machines usually depreciate based on the hours used and the amount of workload it has to handle. So calculate depreciation based on actual working hours for a higher accuracy and not on number of calendar days.
