As an Indian student in the Arts stream, I have been pondering over my career choices lately. I am passionate about the arts and creative fields, but I am also aware of the challenges and stereotypes associated with pursuing a career in this stream. I would appreciate some guidance from fellow students or professionals who have successfully carved a path in the arts. What are the various career options available? How can I overcome the societal pressure and build a successful career in the arts?
You should definitely follow your passion and pursue a career in the arts! There are numerous opportunities for artists, such as becoming an illustrator, graphic designer, art therapist, animator, or even a creative director. Don’t let societal pressure hold you back. Pursuing what you love will bring you more fulfillment in the long run.
