I am in 12th std arts stream and confused about what to do after 12th. Can someone suggest what are the options after 12th arts other than becoming a teacher?What are the jobs other than teaching where arts graduates are preferred?
There are many non teaching options for Arts graduates. You can go for BA LLB and become a lawyer. You can also try journalism, advertising,event management related fields.
I know it might seem limited now but there are actually a lot of jobs for arts graduates. You can do BA and then MA in subjects like psychology, economics, sociology etc which can lead to jobs in research, counseling, human resources etc.
Don’t worry too much now. Focus on your 12th results. After that you will have more clarity on what interests you. Then you can plan for undergraduate courses accordingly. There are many options, you just need to research and find out what you will enjoy doing. All the best!
