I recently graduated with a bachelor’s in engineering from a college in Tamil Nadu. Many of my friends are planning to pursue an MBA right after graduation. But I’m unsure if an MBA is the right choice for me currently. I would like to gain some work experience first before deciding on higher studies. However, my parents are insisting that I should do an MBA to improve my career prospects. Is MBA necessary right after graduation? What are the pros and cons of doing an MBA immediately vs. after gaining some work experience? Please suggest.
