Iam a commerce graduate preparing for CA foundation exam. Can someone please tell me how to effectively study accounts and prepare for the exam? Accounts is a scoring subject but I find it tricky and confusing at times. Any tips would be appreciated.
Make short notes of important concepts and formats while studying. Just reading will not be enough.
Practice lots of questions from past papers. This will help identify your weak areas and improve your speed.
Try to understand the logic and reasoning behind accounting concepts, not just mug up rules. This will help in the long run.
Break your study into small chunks over a period of time rather than cramming everything at the end. This makes it easier to retain.
