im currently pursuing my engineering degree from a government college in India. I really struggle to improve my soft skills like communication, teamwork and leadership. My grammar is also not good and i have a very thick accent while speaking english. Can someone suggest how i can improve my confidence and soft skills along with english speaking and writing?
try joining toastmasters club if available in your college or nearby. public speaking practice will really help improve your confidence and communication
constantly work on improving your english vocabulary. read english newspapers, magazines and books. listen to english podcasts. this will naturally improve your speaking and writing over time
join student clubs and organizations based on your interests. teamwork and leadership skills will develop through these activities. dont worry too much about mistakes, focus on participation
