Hey friends, I am a second year MBBS student struggling with the Krebs cycle reactions and intermediates. Can someone please tell me the easy way to remember them? It would be so helpful. Thanks!!

What I did was I drew out the cycle with all the reactants and products and named each reaction . I then colored coded the intermediates and memorized them that way. Hope this helps. Just visualize the cycle as a circle and go round and round naming the compounds at each step. Donot mug up, understand the basics and visualize it. Let me know if you get it. All d best.

Then divide the intermediates into easy to remember groups based on their structures. Practice drawing the cycle over and over again until you’ve got it down pat. May 10, 2023 at 2:51 pm #2243Rohit GuptaParticipantYo relax dude . The cycle stuff is piece of cake. Draw the cycle diagram n label reactants n products . Put similar named intermediates together . Relate pathway to glucose metabolism . Youll Ace it EZ .
