i am currently in my second year of Btech and confused about which branch to specialize in. computer science seems oversatured but its hard to get a job in other branches. any ideas?
dont worry too much about specialization now. focus on developing good problem solving and coding skills. these will help you get a job in any IT sector.
It depends on your interests and skills. Analyse yourself and see which areas like software, hardware, robotics, AI intrest you the most. Then accordingly choose a specialization. look at job prospects also.
computer science is the safest option. you will have many job opportunities and flexibilty to change sectors after 4 years. Other branches may be too specific.
As long as you work hard and learn well in your btech, almost any branch can land you a good job. Dont worry too much. focus on your studies right now.The specialization wont limit your career too much.
