Hi everyone, I’m an Indian student and I’m considering pursuing a career in Artificial Intelligence. I have a few doubts and I would really appreciate some guidance. Firstly, what are some good universities or colleges in India that offer courses in AI? And secondly, what skills and qualifications do I need to excel in this field? I believe the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) are among the top choices in India for AI courses. They have excellent faculty and well-equipped labs.
Apart from IIT and ISI, some other reputed institutions for AI in India are IIIT Hyderabad, IISc Bangalore, and IIT Delhi. They have strong AI programs and collaborations with industry.
To excel in AI, you should have a solid foundation in mathematics, especially linear algebra and calculus. Programming skills in Python, R, or other AI languages are also essential. Additionally, knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch will be beneficial.
