Im studing BTech electronics and telecommunication. I am having trouble understanding how to read circuit diagrams properly. Can someone explain how to identify components and their placement in a circuit?

First you need to identify the different symbols used to represent electronic components like resistor, capacitor, diode, transistor etc. Then check the orientation of the components in the circuit. Some components have specific placement like diodes and electrolytic capacitors.

yeah the symbols can be confusing first. take it slow and study each component seperately, then try reading simple circuits. with practice it will get easier!

just remeber all circuits can be simplified into 3 basic blocks – power supply, input and output. focus your understanding around these blocks first then expand to the individual components.

circuits can be tricky, dont get discuraged! practice tracing sample circuits step by step with a tutor or senior. it will help solidify the process and build your confidence. all the best!
