I am a CA final student in mumbai and facing difficulties in understanding group accounts and consolidation. I have studied the basic concepts and journal entries related to it but I am unable to solve complicated practical problems. Can someone please help me solve this issue?

Try making flowcharts or mind-maps for every concept. It will help you visualize the process better. Then practice as many problems as you can find.

Make sure you understand the basic terminologies first like holding company, subsidiary, associates etc. Then move on to understanding the various methods of consolidation like acquisition method, pooled interest method etc.
