I am a third year medical student in India and I am having a very tough time understanding and memorizing the various structures in our anatomy practical exams. Does anyone have any tips to make anatomy practicals easier? The dissections are very confusing for me and I often mix up the names of arteries, nerves and muscles.
Don’t worry, practical anatomy can be very challenging. Focus on the major structures first like the skeletal system, major blood vessels and nerves. Make diagrams and simply labeling the bones, muscles and nerves will help with memorization.
