Im a 5th year engineering student from a tier 3 college in india. Placements have started for my batch and i have no internship experience. I am really confused about how to prepare and get a good job. Any tips?

Start applying for internships right away. Even if placements have started, internships will give you some industrial exposure and improve your chances of getting a job. Start practising coding questions and work on your communication skills.

Network! Reach out to seniors, juniors, alumni from your college who are placed and ask them for referrals and tips. The more people know you are looking, the better.

Work on your resume and profile. Highlight relevant projects, internships, technical skills and achievements to make your resume stand out. Get someone senior to review it and provide feedback.

Practice for interviews. Common questions, coding rounds, HR interviews etc. Practice makes perfect!

Stay positive and keep applying. The initial stage can be discouraging but don’t lose hope. With enough effort and luck, you will definitely get a good placement opportunity. All the best!
