I have completed my 12th and scored decent marks but I don’t have any idea about what to do next. There are so many options like Btech, BCom, BA etc in many fields but I am confused about which option will have good job opportunities and a secure future. I want to keep my options open. Any advice what are the best career options nowadays for Indian students?
There are many good options. For good job prospects, BTech or BCA in computer science is best. You can also consider BCom with specialization in accounts, finance or marketing which have good jobs in banks, companies. BA in mass communication, psychology can also be good options. Choose based on your interests and capabilities.
Studying what interests you is important. But also consider jobs and salary after college. Engineering especially computer science will always have most opportunities with highest pay. Commerce will give stable banking jobs. For arts, you’ll have to work harder to land good opportunities. My suggestion is shortlist some options based on your interests and research job prospects for each.
