I am confused about choosing between a competitive or non-competitive CA course. Which type is better for getting a good job after completing my articleship? Non-competitive courses are less expensive but will companies value a competitive course higher while recruiting?

Both types of courses are acceptable to get placed with good firms after articleship. The key is to learn the concepts properly and gain practical experience during your articleship.

Competitive CA courses give you access to better study material and faculty. You’ll likely learn faster and in more depth. However, non-competitive courses are more flexible with the schedule and are much cheaper. It really depends on your budget and learning style.

Choose whatever you are comfortable with. In the end, your practical experience and skills matter the most, not the type of CA course. Focus on developing your skills while doing your articleship and build good relations with your CA firm. That will help you more for your career.
