I’m planning to pursue the CA course after my graduation. Can anyone tell me about the exact expenses involved like exam fees, study material costs and coaching fees? I want to plan my budget in advance.
The exam fees will be around 35k to 40k per attempt. Study material from ICAI itself costs around 15k. Add to that coaching fees which can range from 50k to 2 lakhs depending on the institute. So in total you are looking at atleast 1 to 1.5 lakhs per year.
Dude there are websites where you can get the study material at much lower costs. Don’t waste money on official ICAI material. Focus that money on good coaching.
I’m also a CA student. My advice would be to research well and find the most cost efficient ways to study – like eStudy materials, test series etc. Try to reduce unnecessary expenses. All the best!
CA is indeed an expensive course, but if you focus on your studies and crack it in the first 3 attempts, the returns will more than make up for the expenses involved. Stay focused!
