I am currently done with articleship and preparing for CA final. But I heard ICAI is making changes to the CA course from nov 2022 exam. Can someone explain the new changes and how it will impact current CA students?
From what I know, ICAI is merging Group 1 and Group 2 into a single group from Nov 2022 exams. So instead of 8 papers, there will be only 4 papers – 2 audit papers, 1 law paper and 1 paper on all other subjects.
That’s right, but I think the syllabus of each paper is also changing to make it more integrated. So you need to study the new syllabus carefully to be prepared. The good thing is less number of exams which means less time and effort.
