Hi, I am a class 12 commerce student, I have a lot of trouble understanding accounts. Can someone please help explain debits and credits to me or give me some tips for remembering them? I have an exam coming up and I’m really struggling.
May 10, 2023 at 5:25 pm #2279Amardeep KaurParticipantYaar just memorize debit what comes in and credit what goes out. Capital comes in so debit, expense goes out so credit. It’s easy once you get the hang of it
May 10, 2023 at 5:26 pm #2280Divya KhannaParticipantJust remember D for Draw goes to Debit side and C for Credit goes to Credit side for all Assets & Expenses. Meanwhile for Liabilities & Income , remember CD for Credit goes to Debit side and D for Draw goes to Credit side. This helped me a lot
