Taxation can be complicated but the basics are – there are mainly two types of taxes – direct and indirect. For CA course, focus on direct taxes like income tax and corporate tax. Income tax has different rates – from 0% to 30% – based on income slabs. For corporate tax, the main rate is 30%.
You should first identify your strengths, interests and personality traits. Then you can shortlist few career options based on that. Don’t worry too much at this stage, just start exploring what all options are there.
Just focus on your studies for now. Internships are good but not essential at this stage of your medical course.
Just keep practicing lots of questions on T-accounts and double entry. It’s a little confusing at first but with enough practice you’ll get the hang of it. The key is to understand debits and credits – think of debits as “giving” and credits as “receiving”.
