    You have several good options – you could go for Masters in a related subject and then work as a lecturer or professor. Civil services is also a good option.

    Both are good branches with lot of scope. It mainly depends on your interest. Mechanical mainly deals with machines and hardware whereas computer science involves more programming and software.

    It’s difficult for core branches in tier 3 colleges. Focus on what interest you the most. If you want high packages, do masters from a good college which will open up more options. Otherwise government jobs or entrepreneurship are good options.

    The best option is to apply directly to well known Indian startups. Search for ‘product based companies in India’ and apply to all of them. Even if the internship listings are not active, mail your resume and interest directly. This way you have a better chance of landing a good paying internship.
