Focus on quality, not quantity. Spending more time reading the material does not necessarily mean you understand it better. Study actively by summarizing, explaining concepts in your own words and testing yourself regularly.
If you have a passion for something beyond software development, pursue that after some work experience. Do an MBA or other courses in the domain of your interest.
