Choose subjects you like, not what has most scope. You’ll have to study it for 3 years, so start with interest. Career will follow.

The medical course is certainly intense and can take a toll on your mental wellbeing. Prioritize taking breaks, eating well and sleeping enough hours. Talk to seniors about how they coped.
