I am an arts student in India and recently started my graduation. I am confused about what career options I will have after completing B.A. Can someone suggest good options for a commerce student?
You have several good options – you could go for Masters in a related subject and then work as a lecturer or professor. Civil services is also a good option.
I would suggest exploring teaching options – apply for B.Ed after graduation and then work as a school teacher. The job security is good and you can start right after your studies.
Don’t limit yourself to stereotypical arts graduate roles. With the right skills and qualifications, you can go into almost any sector – marketing, finance, operations etc. But you’ll need to work on developing in-demand skills in addition to your degree.
