I am an engineering student in India and really struggling to find a good internship opportunity. Most internships either don’t pay enough or don’t really offer valuable work experience. Does anyone have any tips on how I can find a good internship that will help my career?

Try applying to internships at large companies, they usually offer the most structured programs and pay well. Focus on companies in your field of study.

Network! Reach out to your university alumni or professors, they may have connections at companies that can help you land an internship. Don’t be afraid to ask.

Start your own side projects to build your resume and skills. Even if you can’t find an internship, building projects on your own shows initiative and can help you stand out to future employers.

Don’t limit yourself to just internships in your city. Apply to internships across India and be open to relocating for the summer, even if just for a few months. The experience will be worth it.
