I recently graduated with a BTech degree in computer science and am confused about what to do next. I want to have a stable and good paying job but am not sure what options I have to achieve that. Can seniors provide me some advice on career paths after an engineering degree in India?
The most common option is to prepare for government exams like SSC JE, GATE, UPSC etc. These exams provide you stable government jobs with good pay and benefits.
You can also consider job opportunities in the IT sector. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc hire a large number of engineering graduates every year. The pay may not be very high initially but it increases as you gain experience.
