I’m a commerce student in college but struggling to get any good internship related to accounts, finance or management. All internships ask for some prior experience which i dont have. Any tips how can i get a good internship relevant to my stream?
Just apply to as many places as you can. Even if they ask for experience, lie a bit on your resume. Once you get the internship, work hard and learn as much as possible. That’s how you gain experience.
Network! Talk to your seniors, professors and family friends working in related fields. Many internships are filled through referrals rather than applications.
Improve your communication and presentation skills. Learn some computer applications like Excel, Tally etc. These basic skills make your resume stand out for commerce internships.
