hi is there any senior commerce students who can help me? I study in punjab board and have few doubts. Firstly how big of a problem is coding part while doing Bcom Hons or CA? Can we manage without knowing how to code well? Also what are some main challenges you face in commerce stream?
June 6, 2023 at 7:17 pm #2761The main challenges in commerce stream are longer syllabus with lots of theories and definitions. Coding is not really required unless you want to pursue a computerized accounting course. For Bcom, CA you just need basic Excel knowledge.
June 6, 2023 at 7:19 pm #2762I’m also a Punjab board student. Honestly coding is not that important but knowing basics of MS office will be useful. The main issues for me are lack of practical knowledge and less job opportunities after graduation. Also math is difficult in +2.
June 6, 2023 at 7:20 pm #2763don’t worry too much abt coding right now. focus on understanding fundamentals of accountancy, business math etc. practically you’ll have to maintain registers, reconcile bank statements , so prepare well for that. job opportunities are there you just need to search well and work on your communication skills. all the best!
