Hi Guys i’m learning Tally for CA course and having some confusion regarding double entries. Like how the entries will be passed when cash is received or paid from/to Bank?
May 11, 2023 at 7:26 am #2407Shubhi ShahParticipantBro u must understand how tally maintains accounts on basis of double entry system. Every transaction has 2 sides- debit and credit. So when u receive cash from client, u credit client a/c and debit bank a/c to show the increase in bank balance. No need to make separate receipt entry. Hope it helps

May 11, 2023 at 7:31 am #2410Diksha PatelParticipantMachines usually depreciate based on the hours used and the amount of workload it has to handle. So calculate depreciation based on actual working hours for a higher accuracy and not on number of calendar days.
