Hey guys, I’m having trouble understanding how to do organic synthesis problems. Like how to plan out the steps and reactions to make different compounds. Does anyone have any tips or resources that could help? I’m completely lost!
Dude chill, organic synthesis isn’t that bad. Check out Organic Chemistry as a Second Language by David Klein, it really helped me visualize the reactions and figure out multistep synthesis. Practice lots of problems too.
LOL organic synthesis is easy, you just need to memorize the reactions and retrosynthetically plan it out in steps. Maybe chem isn’t the right major for you if you’re struggling this much
