Hi, I’m a second year B.Com student wondering how to prepare for CA Intermediate exams. I want to start preparing from now itself. What should I study and focus on? Any tips would be appreciated.
You should start with the basics of accounting and economics. Study the fundamentals well and practice lots of exercise questions. Also revise your subjects from graduation like business law, business maths etc.
Focus on time management during exams. The papers are long and have a tight timing. Practice solving questions under time pressure to improve your speed. Also, make short notes of important concepts, formulas and definitions.
CA inter is tough man. You’ll need lots of self study and discipline. Follow a study plan and stick to it. Take regular tests and mocks to track your progress. And most importantly, don’t lose hope. You can do it! All the best.
Start practicing past year papers and question banks as early as possible. This will help you identify your weaknesses and work on them before the exams.
