Hello guys, I m looking to start my own beauty parlour in my city. My parents have invested some money and I want to make the best of it. I wanted to take tips/advice from experienced entrepreneurs who have successfully started and run beauty parlours. Also, statistics on revenue generation, operational costs etc for running a parlour would be really helpful. This forum has helped me a lot in my academics, hope I can get useful info from here for this venture too. Thank you!

Just start with waxing and threading services for ladies, very popular and demand is high. You will get good profits initially. Once the business grows, you can diversify into other services like facials, manicures, pedicures, etc.

I agree with l1l. Waxing and threading are must-haves. Also keep the parlour clean, hygienic and welcoming. Provide good service and quality products. Build a loyal customer base through good word of mouth. Best of luck!

Creative n memorable service names/packages will also help attract customers. But dont spend too much on capital equipment/furniture in the beginning. Keep costs minimal and profits high. U can always expand later.

My suggestion would be to start small, keep costs low, provide good quality service and build from there based on customer feedback and demands. Best wishes! Invest wisely and grow gradually. You’ve got this!

All the tips are good but remember “hard work, passion and consistency” are key to success in any business. Stay motivated and never give up! You’ll do great. All the best!
